We are here to announce that, the first time of 2021, due to the rapid increase of purchasing cost since 2020, the sales price for PCB has to be adjusted which is agaisnt our heart.
It wasn't an easy decision to make because we definitely understand the change will impact on all of our distinguished customers and also their purchasing plan, their sales plan and all relevant planns are involved with.
In other hand, its an easy decision because we do not have any other options, cause the fastly going up costs are eating our slim margin and making it unaffordable for us.
So, from the date of 1st of March, the printed circuit board price goes to
Lowest to $65/sqm, double sided PCB;
Add $7.8 per sqm for multi layers PCB on existing costs;
add $3.15 per extra PP needed
The factors that drove us to this are
Copper ball cost increased from $5625/ton to $10625/ton;
solder ball cost increased from $20315/ton to $31250/ton;
copper foil cost increased from $11.25/kg to $16/kg;
PP cost increased from $1.72/kg to $2.5/kg
Furtherly it is in great short of supply for the core for 0.8mm and above, because the new energy sector requires a lot and they are national policy. So any RFQ that require core >=1oz or board thickness over 1.5mm shall face short supply, thus we all require checking before placing order even for re-ordering.
We are ultimately sorry for any troubles that have been raised due to this change.
